Layout inspired by some of the earlier examples of movable type (i.e. The Gutenberg Bible) and Garamond's own "petit texte" type.

Layout inspired by The Folio Bible printed by Baskerville in 1763.

Layout inspired by prints released by the company of Firmin Didot during the 1800s blended with a more contemporary look found in today's fashion magazines such as Vogue or Harper's Bazaar.

A subtle nod to British signage of the 40s and 50s, this layout was inspired by railway timetables and locomotive nameplates found on London and North Eastern Railway trains.

This layout, simply put, was inspired entirely by elements of the International Typographic Style also known as "Swiss Style." I pulled ideas from key features of the style such as an asymmetrical layout and the use of a grid while also channeling the later, grid-based works of Piet Mondrian.
